Literary Arts Festival

As an undergraduate student in a business college, I soon discovered that while we hosted around 10 fiancee-based intercollegiate festivals, there was no platform for students to pursue their artistic side - it was often hidden as 'sub-events' under broader themes, or de-prioritised because it didn't align with the capitalism first narrative. In order to flip the script, I decided to launch the first-intercollegiate literary arts festival in a manner that was self-sustaining ie. no financing from college - my goal was to show that anything you are passionate about can, with the right guidance, be a source of income as well. 'Lit Fest' as it was called became the largest festival in the history of the college, executed with the smallest team in the history of (almost any) college, and yes, you guessed it - in a financially self-sustaining manner!
